Tour Plan :

DAY 1 : Arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP). After your arrival, you will be welcomed by your tour representative and begin your journey towards Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, which is approximately 4 hours away by road. Enroute Sightseeing: On your way to Gangtok, visit the following attractions: Tashi View Point: Enjoy panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga range and the surrounding valleys. Siliguri: A small town in West Bengal that marks the entry into Sikkim. Evening Arrival at Gangtok: Check-in at your hotel in Gangtok, relax, and have a peaceful evening. You can take a leisurely walk on MG Marg, the bustling street filled with cafes, shops, and vibrant energy.

DAY 2 : Morning Excursion to Tsomgo Lake: After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Tsomgo Lake (also known as Changu Lake), located at an altitude of 12,310 feet. The lake, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, is a serene spot and is sacred to the locals. You can also enjoy a yak ride here for a more authentic experience. Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir: Visit the Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a unique shrine dedicated to an Indian Army soldier who is believed to have protected the region. It is located near Nathula Pass, which is close to the Indo-China border (if open). Evening in Gangtok: Return to Gangtok by late afternoon, relax, and enjoy local Tibetan and Sikkimese cuisine at one of the many restaurants in town.

DAY 3 : Morning Departure from Gangtok: After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and start your journey towards Darjeeling. The drive takes about 4 to 5 hours, and you will pass through beautiful hill roads and tea gardens. Arrival in Darjeeling: On arrival, check-in to your hotel and relax for the evening. Darjeeling, also known as the Queen of the Hills, offers charming colonial architecture, cool weather, and scenic views of the Himalayas. Evening at Leisure: Take a walk along Mall Road or visit Chowrasta Square to enjoy the atmosphere of this hill station.

DAY 4 : Early Morning Visit to Tiger Hill: Start your day early with a visit to Tiger Hill for a spectacular sunrise over Kanchenjunga and the distant peaks of Mount Everest. The view is truly mesmerizing as the sun casts a golden hue on the snow-capped mountains. Batasia Loop & War Memorial: On your way back, stop at Batasia Loop, a famous railway loop where the Toy Train takes a spiral descent through the hills. The War Memorial here honors the soldiers of Darjeeling who fought for the country. Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Toy Train): Ride the famous Toy Train for a nostalgic experience as you travel through tea gardens, forests, and picturesque landscapes. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a must-do in Darjeeling. Happy Valley Tea Estate: Visit the Happy Valley Tea Estate for a tour of the tea gardens and an introduction to the tea-making process. Don’t miss sampling the world-famous Darjeeling tea. Peace Pagoda and Japanese Temple: In the afternoon, visit the Peace Pagoda for panoramic views of the town and the Himalayas. The Japanese Temple nearby offers a serene atmosphere for reflection and relaxation. Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park: If time permits, explore the zoo to see rare Himalayan species like the red panda and snow leopard.

DAY 5 : Morning at Leisure: Enjoy a relaxing morning at leisure in Darjeeling. You may visit Mahakal Temple or take a last stroll around Chowrasta and Mall Road for some shopping and souvenirs. Departure: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station for your onward journey. The drive will take approximately 3 hours, depending on traffic conditions.
